ECLIVES at 5: Building Culture in the Digital Age
In this creative culture, merged with the digital age, I move as a Computer Scientist rooted deeply in the arts. Where others see rust, I see gold. Today marks five years of ECLIVES—the last-born of my creations. ECLIVES is a living expression of my love for music, creative culture, and my identity as an African son of the soil, enabled by a strong Computer Science foundation. After many iterations, the platform is now live and attracting viewers from across the world—not just as software, but as a cultural bridge designed to speak directly to the needs of artists.
ECLIVES is not about hustle—it is about structure. It asks a simple but powerful question: how does an artist make money without losing themselves? From monetisation pathways to platform integration, we are building tools that allow creatives to tap into global systems without compromising their brand. One of our key features is the showcasing of venues—because venues are the engine of culture. We focus on quality, on alignment, and on purpose. ECLIVES remains a boutique platform by design. We are not here for mass appeal—we are here for meaningful connection and sustainable growth.

I am reminded of artists who have mastered this lane. Norah Jones, with multiple Grammys and millions sold, continues to fill intimate venues because she understands her audience deeply. Similarly, Nomfusi has built a strong international presence, filling venues across Germany, Canada, and the United States—proof that knowing your niche is power. ECLIVES stands in that same philosophy. We are building for those who understand that culture is not noise—it is precision. In this passion, we partnered with many South African Public Private Partnerships, including SAMPRA- https://sampra.org.za/
